Six years ago, I started Cake Sera-Sera as a way to work out of our home and keep our kids with me during the day. My husband and I created a state-licensed kitchen out of a storage room. Why a cake business? I saw a niche in the market and starting it in my home required low start-up costs. The first official Cake Sera-Sera cake was baked in May of 2003. The business took off! I dreamed of and planned a downtown storefront expansion for five years. Cake Sera-Sera opened the doors to its storefront on May 5, 2008. The name "Cake" Sera-Sera comes from the Doris Day song, "Que" Sera-Sera meaning "whatever will be, will be." We strive to make you whatever type/flavor/style of cake that you/we can dream up!
